Vanilla almond protein balls

Tastes like cookie dough! Quick and easy protein ball recipe that does not require any baking and can be used as a protein bar substitute. Vanilla and cinnamon really compliment the almond butter in this recipe. We used plant based protein powder but you can use any kind!

Equipment

  • bowl
  • Spatula
  • parchment paper and containers or baggies for storage

Ingredients
  

  • 3 scoops vanilla protein powder We used a vanilla plant based protein powder called Purely Inspired from Walmart
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cups almond butter no sugar added
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add all of your ingredients to a bowl and mix until it feels like cookie dough
  • Portion out into small, teaspoon sized balls and place on parchment paper in the fridge to get firm. Can store in the fridge or freezer
