Chipotle Chili
This recipe is a savory and quick chili starter meal made with ground turkey, tomatoes, kidney beans, frozen green beans, and refried beans.
Ingredients
- ½ lb ground turkey
- 12 oz kidney beans
- 10 oz green beans We used frozen, but could use canned, and could switch out for any other non-starchy veggie
- 2 tbsp chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
- 6 oz refried beans
- 15 oz diced tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- For Instapot: Saute ½ lb ground turkey until broken up. Then add all of the other ingredients, mix, and pressure cook on high for 3 minutes OR slow cook for 4-8 hours.
- For crockpot: try to break up the ground turkey, then add all the other ingredients and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 4 hours.
- For pot: Saute ½ lb ground turkey until broken up. Then add all of the other ingredients, mix, and cover with lid. Simmer on medium high for about 15- 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
