Crockpot or Instapot Hot Sauce Chicken
Cook up this tasty chicken in 15 minutes in the instapot or 4 hours in the crockpot and pair with whatever you would like! Put into a wrap or lettuce wrap with shredded carrots, celery, and a creamy dressing.
Ingredients
- 24 oz chicken breasts
- 1/2 onion
- 1 clove or tbsp garlic minced or powder
- 16 oz chicken broth
- 1/2 cup cayenne hot sauce
Instructions
- Crockpot 1. Combine all the ingredients except hot sauce in crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Crockpot 2. Save 1/2 cup of the broth and throw away the rest, then shred the chicken with 2 forks.
- Crockpot 3. Add the broth & hot sauce to the chicken in the crockpot and cook on high another 30 minutes then serve in a wrap with lettuce, carrots, celery.
- Instapot 1. Combine all the ingredients except hot sauce in the instapot then cover and cook on high pressure for 15 minutes then release the steam.
- Instapot 2. Save 1/2 cup of the broth and throw away the rest, then shred the chicken with 2 forks.
- Instapot 3. Add the broth & hot sauce to the chicken in the instapot and saute for 2-3 minutes then serve!
